1. Who we are

This notice covers Lumina Client and the website getlumina.cc (“we”, “us”). Contact: noreply@getlumina.cc.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address, username, password hash, verification status, account timestamps.
Purchase data: plan type, membership status, amounts, and payment-related IDs provided by our payment processor (Paddle). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Device / license data: hardware ID (HWID) you bind for client authorization, and related license check logs needed to enforce access.
Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent, and basic request logs for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
Communications: emails we send (for example verification codes) and messages you send to us.

Create and manage your account
Process purchases and fulfill digital delivery
Verify licenses and prevent unauthorized sharing
Provide support and send transactional emails
Secure the Service and investigate fraud or abuse
Improve reliability (for example update checks)

4. Legal bases

Where required (for example under GDPR), we process data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as securing the Service and preventing fraud.

5. Sharing

We share data only as needed with:

Paddle — payment processing and related tax/invoicing
Email provider (Resend) — transactional email delivery
Hosting providers — operating getlumina.cc and the API

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to your account. Essential cookies/sessions are required for login and account features.

7. Retention

We keep account and purchase records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion subject to those needs.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical measures (for example hashed passwords, HTTPS, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at noreply@getlumina.cc. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not use the Service if you are under that age.

11. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We take steps appropriate to the context to protect such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Notice. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
